Abstract

Cloud computing and distributed systems have revolutionized corporate finance by enhancing financial decision-making, risk management, and overall financial performance. This study examines how these technological advancements influence modern corporate finance practices. The paper explores key benefits such as cost reduction, scalability, and improved financial forecasting while also addressing potential risks, including cybersecurity threats and system dependencies. Using a mixed-methods approach, this research combines quantitative financial performance analysis with qualitative insights from corporate executives. The findings highlight the significant role of cloud-based financial analytics in improving decision-making agility and mitigating financial risks. Furthermore, the study discusses regulatory challenges and data security concerns in cloud-based financial systems. The results provide valuable insights for financial managers, policymakers, and IT professionals in leveraging cloud computing and distributed systems for sustainable financial growth.
